Movement

Cognitive

  • Explores objects by shaking or throwing.
  • Finds hidden objects easily.
  • Can follow simple one-step directions.
  • Points to things they want to see.

Social

  • Shows affection to familiar people.
  • May have "separation anxiety" when parents leave.
  • Hands you a book when they want to hear a story.
  • Plays simple games like Pat-a-cake.

Feeding & Language

  • Uses simple gestures (shaking head "no").
  • Tries to say 1 or 2 words (like "Mama" or "Dada").
  • Drinks from an open cup (with help).
  • Uses fingers to feed themselves.
